It was 2014, I was looking for a space to expand my coffee business and found our original location on Malcolm X blvd, it happened to have a pizza oven in it.
While adjusting the space, people frequently inquired about us being a pizzeria. Give the people what they want right? The new project started to move in a new direction.
The Last Dragon randomly aired on television around that same time. The scene of Leroy eating with his family played and when the father mentioned the slogan,
it was a sign. I resonated with the fathers pride of being the black pizza man in Harlem, I love pizza and a big fan of the movie! Do I need to say more?
